We are a Museum, formerly located at Lauriston Fire Station in Edinburgh dedicated to celebrating the history of Firefighting, through telling the story of one of the worlds first organised Municipal Fire Brigade under the command of the appointed Master of Fire Engines, James Braidwood, founded in 1824.
